We have this quote from a man who had been healed. From birth, he had not been able to see, and after an encounter with Jesus, what was previously only a dream had become reality. From this experience, the seeing man begins the long, arduous, beautiful journey of evangelism. Now, as he encounters all sorts of people who are afraid, both priests, family and lay people alike, he must see and tell how his own life intersects with this encounter with Jesus.
Even if it means against direct opposition.

Preparing for Marriage Seminar 2018
Saturday 27th October 9am – 5pm and continuing on Sunday 28th October 1.30pm to 5.30pm at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 388 Montague Road, Para Vista. An enjoyable, interactive, non-threatening way to share time with your partner and other couples, bringing benefits that can last a lifetime.
Topics include: resolving conflict, realistic expectations, communication, and the meaning of marriage. Presented in a relaxed adult educational style (it is not counselling). For couples planning to marry and for those recently married.

Notes since last published report:
• Offerings in September were around $3,930 below budget.
• Offerings through REG were $900 under budget with plate again well under, but again similar to recent months.
• Based on recent Offerings it appears we will end the year around $35k under budget.
• Expenses were in line with budget during August and are significantly under the Budget for the year to date.
