Encountering Jesus Changes Everything

This Sunday we continue our worship series: ‘God’s opening acts’. In the book of Acts, we’re tracing how God opens opportunities for the good news of Jesus to be proclaimed; and opens people’s hearts to receive Jesus as Messiah and Lord.

Has it ever surprised you how God gets through to people?  Do you ever wonder how some people - who once wanted NOTHING to do with Jesus - end up becoming his faithful followers?  Perhaps you see one in the mirror from time to time?

This Sunday, we’re looking at how Jesus appeared to Saul on his way to Damascus. We’ll be hearing Saul’s side of the story.  This dramatic event changed him from a persecutor of Jesus to a proclaimer of Jesus.

Who would have thought Saul?  Who would have thought you?

Family Zone LCC @ Ingle Farm
At the November meeting in 2015 the congregation decided that we would support  Lutheran Community Care at Ingle Farm.

At both services on Sunday Kathlene Wilson the Manager from Lutheran Community Care at Ingle Farm will outline the wonderful work they do in supporting the many disadvantaged families in the area. Kathleen will be available after service to answer questions or to discuss the work of LCC.

There will be a retiring offering after both services. This together with the $250 raised at the BBQ several weeks ago will be given to LCC to support their work at Ingle Farm.

Anyone with a heart for outreach into our local community will be given the opportunity to form a LCC Team whose function will be to coordinate our support for LCC at Ingle Farm.
